Biography

A Brazilian artist from São Gonçalo in Rio de Janeiro, Matheus is a singer, songwriter and guitarist. Graduated in economics studies, he only decided to dedicate himself to his musical career after a long pilgrimage along the Camino de Santiago. 

 

His music is a synthesis and analysis of his life experiences and personal reflections. Writing lyrics in different languages and fusing musical styles, Matheus carries an identity without borders, rich in creative diversity. 

 

His most successful song is 'Soteropolitana', which he performed on The Voice Portugal and already has millions of plays on digital platforms. 

 

In 2022, he released his first album in Switzerland, "Enquanto a Terra Girar", an intimate musical journey that ranges from bolero to jazz. Now, currently in Latin America, he has just released his new album "Imigrante", the hybrid and heterogeneous face of a contemporary troubadour.
